WCDE’s RSVP system allows you to pre-reserve spots for any regional or national event. By RSVPing, a studio puts down a deposit of $100 per student attending the convention to reserve them a space on the ballroom floor.

RSVP FOR NATIONAL FINALS FOR $25!
Studios can RSVP for National Finals during the Regional RSVP at a discounted rate of $25 per dancer deposit.
All RSVPs will be applied to a studio’s final bill when completing their registration.

West Coast Dance Explosion is proud to be celebrated as the premiere dance convention experience in the dance competition industry.
We are excited to announce our 29th season where we will visit 12 cities across the country during our regional tour and culminate with a National Finals event in Chicago, IL.
A typical regional convention weekend lasts from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon and is fueled with an undeniable passion for dance, education and community spirit!
WEST COAST DANCE EXPLOSION IS...
INSPIRATION. MOTIVATION. CONNECTION.
Each convention includes world-class workshops in different styles of dance including: Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Commercial, Lyrical and Musical Theater. These workshops are an invaluable opportunity for young dancers to work with professional master dance teachers, and a great way for dance teachers and studio owners to get the newest moves, music, and dance studio business training. Each regional event concludes with an inspiring closing show featuring a performance by the WCDE Faculty, a Studio Showcase, and an exciting scholarship presentation!
WCDE also offers a state-of-the-art competition with fair and consistent scoring in a fun and supportive environment. Both individuals and teams are invited to showcase their talent and training during our regional and national dance competitions. Our competitions are designed to provide insight and feedback to dancers and their teachers as they pursue their next levels of dance excellence.
Dancers of all ages and levels consistently return to their dance studio after attending our events feeling motivated and inspired to reach for new levels of dance excellence.
